Just received an email from Sunset Magazine. They're just about a month behind schedule on this public voting thing, and not scamming--that's the good news. The bad news is my Gypsy Island Sanctuary didn't make the cut. I'm a bit disappointed in some choices. They are supposed to be lived in and innovative. Some, like the above are empty, so not very lived in, and one is just a standard Tumbleweed design, not an "innovative design" of their own. But, if you would like to vote for one of the seven finalists in my "dreams on wheels or water" category, CLICK HERE
When the economy crashed and Jaclyn was being forced from her home due to foreclosure, she knew she wanted more than just a roof over her head. She wanted to travel, and have adventures, but didn't want to live in an RV. She wanted her home to be soul inspiring and nurturing, but needed to create it on a shoe-string budget. So, with minimal funds and a little help from her friends, she built her tiny traveling sanctuary.
In this blog, you'll find the story of Jaclyn's journey from foreclosure to Living Large, Tiny in her Gypsy Island Sanctuary.
